Whale is a comic drawn by Joseph Devens, originally for the Daily Texan, the University of Texas at Austin student newspaper. While at UT, Joseph became the editor of the comics page, and thus produced many other gems in the form of filler material. He also draws for the DT Weekend magazine, doing their 'backpage' cartoons, and sometimes some cover illustrations. His primary comic is Whale, featuring Whale, Little Girl, Pig, Duck, Platypus, Monolith, Murphy, Iftheodorerooseveltwerearabbit, Baleen Whale, Tim, Sarah 4020, and Montanaface. He has also done many political cartoons, Pinko & Mink, and Satire High.
